Dave began his career in the cigar business at age nineteen while working at a cigar shop in Charleston and later became co-owner. His passion for cigars was born as he watched aficionados overlook their differences to share a cigar and become friends. Having access to a walk-in humidor at his fingertips, he has been able to test nearly every cigar on the market and has gained an insider’s knowledge of the world of tobacco.

Dave oversees the business planning of Coastal Cigars, and his input on cigar blends and brand choices is a vital component of the Coastal Family.

His favorite cigar is the Avo Domaine #50.
